How do i turn the volume up on my 2006 w221 s class?

I was using it last night and could hardly hear it? I muted the music but still could hardly hear it, when the music is on its not loud enough?

I don't have that model, but normally you can turn up the (radio) volume while the satnav is speaking, and that affects the satnav, but not the radio.

Don't you just go in to the settings in the navigation menu and turn the volume up?

It might depend on which version of SatNav you've got.

Depending on which model you have, you may be able to get the satnav to repeat the last instruction by pressing the volume knob, rather than have to wait for it to bark out a new instruction.

It was that, the problem was she wasn't talking long enough!
You have to press the big control knob to get her to repeat the instruction, then swap hands fingers etc to the volume control! No good when you're lost and looking for which exit on a roundabout
