    Hi all,

Recently the GPS location on the satnav is way off, putting me in Germany most of the time, though it is completely random.

Is there a reset or anything I can do, or does it need to go back to MB?

It's a E350d W213 2017 with the split screen, half digital half analogue, not sure if that makes sense. Not sure what version or anything like that.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Take it to MB, it's still under warranty...

As per whitenemesis although just unplug any chargers or similar you have plugged in incase they are causing interference with the GPS antenna - although I suspect there is an issue with the GPS antenna.

Ok, thanks, was just wondering if there was a ''reset" I could do somewhere, sometimes my phone does the same thing and if I turn it off and on again it fixes it.

I'll take it back in. Annoying as it's just come back out due to a steering "squeak"...

    Cheers.

Strange, it works OK again now... I'll leave it and see what happens over a few weeks and take it back if it re-occurs.

It must be a broken GPS antenna. They all fail on the W213, at least up to MY 2017, haven't checked if the antenna part has changed recently. Wife's (MY 2017) car failed a year ago. It came back a few times before the antenna was changed under warranty. A proper workshop should see the issue from fault codes (refer to TIPS) even if the antenna happened to work at the workshop inspection.
