satnav voice volume??

I have 2004 mercedes e55k. And the vocal sat nav message volume is crap.. does anyone know how to improve this??. Ive been through the menu and the volume seems to be have turned up????.

When the voice is speaking, turn up your volume and it will remember...

If you press the volume knob, it will repeat the last instruction. You can then adjust the volume.
