No pictures - sorry :(

Coming home down the M40 we slowly caught what looked like a silver W124 coupe. But something wasn't right, only as we passed did I notice it was actually a 320 cab with a hard top on. Never seen one in the flesh, looked quite good!

I've seen a dark blue (Nautic?) 124 cabriolet (320) with a hard top - it was sold (or another one the same..) by one of the marque specialists - might have been the place near Putney?

Was a long time ago though! (2/3 years or so)

Not wishing to hijack your thread, but I have just seen an UMC (unidentified mercedes car) drive past my office here in central London.
It had a honeycomb radiator grille (not the normal horizontal bars). It was a 2 door coupe style body (I think it may have been a CL?) Looked about 1998ish. And where an AMG badge might be on the boot lid, was a painted red name. Looked like Jewel, or something like that. another behind the front wheels.
It was the grille that took my notice. It just looked all wrong with that honeycomb grille.
