Alright, flat bonnet badged brethren, its time to stand up and be counted.

How many of you dismiss the upright star for the chav attracting bauble that it has become?

How many eschew the glittery treat in favour of unravaged paintwork?

Come on.. tell us why flat bonnet badges are the dogs danglies!

They look better for a start. :)

All above. :ban:

The gun sight stars are better. :thumb:

Flat badges = BMW

Buy a normal badge, and connect your battery to it so no one can steal it :D

Star on bonnet = old person. Flat badge= young and trendy person.

Full stop

Word!

And you can take that to da church :thumb:

I wonder if Olly would cut me some bonnet vents and carbon look my hood?

All depands what MB model it is.. you can't put a flat bonnet badge on a S class or even an E class in my opinion..

if it was a c class with AMG body kit etc then it might look nice with a flat badge.

flat bonnet badge is more aerodynamic lol

Ok ok i will elaborate.....I am buying a 2005 C Class with full factory AMG sport package so i think its crying out for the flat badge grill, i think flat badge looks better by miles but only on the right cars......If i had an S class or E class i would not want the flat badge....

Sorry but this just wouldn't look right with a flat badge..

I'm so tempted, it looks so good dropped 20mm but part of the deal with myself when I bought it was that I'm keeping it original. It's supposed to be my hassle-free daily driver and I really really don't fancy grounding it out (look away now) when I sometimes have to park it up on the pavement.

My other car is the one that gets all the toys (it's on coilovers so I can make it low enough for both of them).

I know how you feel, but having seen some other pix on here, your car would soooo love a good drop

But the real world has to prevail...

I can see where this is all going.

We're going to have to split the debate into:

- w202 - flat badge yes/no
- AMG w202 - flat badge yes/no
- w203 - flat badge yes/no
- AMG w203 - flat badge yes/no
- w211...

We'd be here all day.

Suffice to say - it looks good on some cars, and not others. Or... if your car ends up on barryboys, you know you've gone too far...
