Hi all. I have purchased a brake deadtivation tool as am going to change out the discs and pads etc at the weekend. It has a code reading and reset capability too and it has flagged the following codes dispite there being no warnings on the dash and the brakes are working just fine.
Can anyone shed light on what these are?
C225C is the first code and apparnetly relates to an ABS "event" but what that means i do not know.
Last sode if tantalisingly close to the dreaded c249f but it actually reads C249E, with a note of undervoltage. Now i did put a new AGM battery on in december and also checked the standing voltage of the back up battery today and that is a respectable 12.75v. So not quite certain what this code might be refereing to.
I cleared the codes re started and they returned instantly on the code reader Ep31, but still with no other dash warnings
If anyone has run into these or has any information I would be grateful. If no other option it will have to go on star but would like to avoid that of possible at the moment.
