well trodden ground I know but trying to plan on how long I can keep my S211.

Its a 2006 with 126K and is in great nick. There is no record of the SBC pump having been changed so I can only presume its as fitted from new. There are no issues but mileage dictates that it will time out at some time not to distant. I've heard that it may cost around £1k at an indie to renew and that would be fine but much more may have me moving the car on before this occurs. My best case scenario is to keep the car as I really like it.
Can anyone with experience give me an idea of a replacement cost please?
Thanks in advance

Why have you copied and pasted the exact question I posted on April 30 2020?

Cheers, I suspected so. I had my emails hacked a few days back so I'm wondering if it might have something to do with that or was it just a random choice? Who knows

Thank you my issue has been solved

Just to add you can date the pump by its serial number. It may well of been changed ??

I wouldn't bother replying to this individual's post, read further up the thread. He appears to be a spammer. It has been reported.

It was for you bud.

Just seen this. How do you date the pump from the serial number please

So it seems I have one manufactured in 2003. So on my 2005 S211 it's probable out of activations which will be the "brake visit workshop" message although the fault code on my iCarsoft MB v1. 0 shows "check wake up procedure of Control Module" not an over activation limit fault
