Gents..

I Think its time to sell or scrap my 1998 slk.

BUt which one.. whats the value on my car.

Its a one owner car. bough in 1998 on an R Reg..

its an SLK200 Supplied from twinstar as new in Colindale (NW London)

Full options, service history, 120k on the clock..

condition = exterior and interior is average, few minor dings and dents.., interior colour peel/fading with wear and tear...

It has every single option fitted except amg kit or wheels.

blue/green metallic, grey two tone leather

How can i check the price on this car? Is it even worth the scrap value? or is it worth more or less.

Its totally reliable, never gone wrong and in all honesty, I dont wanna get rid of her, its just, you might laugh.. but i have too many bloody cars in my house...

The Reg is R985 SOY, chassis details not to hand.. but any advice is welcome

some pics of car from archives

If it's running fine and reliably why scrap it? If it's not worth that much to you that you want to scrap I would gladly take it off your hands for the scrappage price you would get....

I don't think I'd scrap it -if it's roadworthy stick a fresh MOT on it an ebay it or sell it here. Certainly looks nice in the pics.

Scrap it! :D ;)

Will

Give it away with the E320 Cab!

Am I missing something? Does it actually have any major problems that make scrapping it advisable, or is it worth more scrapped, or trade it in scrapping?

On autotrader similar cars seem to be from £4.5k upwards.

If you want to get shot of it I'll give you scrappage money:)

Sorry, but it sounds like you've more money than sense to me.

Wonder how long before you get stopped in the S Class.......illegal spacing etc etc etc...:D

lol..

Guys.. scraping or selling is just an idea..

i need to evaluate the worth of the car, then from there decide.. hence my question was aimed at trying to ascertain what kind of value the car has..

as you may have seen in my other threads, this SLK has been one of our most trouble free purchases we have had, from new.. and at mo, just guide me on the price of it.. and from there, we can see what we are gonna do with it.

Received you pms today.. thank you.. will see you later on!

Just the village garage?

He'd want the village too...:D

Im re Jigging..

Yaris is in Scrapable state on value terms..

1 owner, only 60k miles... just over 10 years old.. every panel has a dent or something on it, as it is used a s a work horse..

SLK.. well only cause if the age thingy that it needs to go..

W140.. as mentioned.. i didnt really ponder till Navs S600 went walkies.. and it kinda reignited the prefaclifted version for me.. a nice one went on ebay last week...

i didnt bid maybe its a sign that a 500 is what i should focus on ;)
