So early one Monday morning a week ago, not content with testing mirror strength against my garage door frame last year, I decided to setup a new experiment to test the front bumper against the same frame to see how that fairs.

Method: Drive your car against the garage door frame

Results: The bumper stayed intact but the paint was very badly scraped off it.

Job done. :thumb:

However, Scuffbusters in TW, who I normally recommend to those in need on here, removed 140 beer tokens from the piece of plastic in my pocket and made it all Tektite grey again ('scue the refections of my bike etc. in the second one - it's not the paint job!):

Looks like a good job there, John :thumb:

Bet the language was colourful when it happened.

Actually, I think I was quite cool about it right after.

It's purely in the time since it happened and today that I have not stopped referring to myself as a **** (male chicken) when the topic crops up.

:D

They did it well - proper spray and blend job, hot oven thing etc. Not a mobile touch-up job so I was chuffed. Took 3 hours and I watched to see if I could learn a thing or two.
