Car
MK5 Golf GTI + C63 AMG
As of today I've left my C63 parked at home and been using my golf GTI as I'm working long hrs and due to Parking don't want my C63 parked outside work for 12 hrs....

Came back home earlier this evening and admired the car as I usually do, to find a small scratch on the passenger side door along 3" long. It's a fairly light scratch and I'm not sure if it's been done purposely or maybe been caused by a stone or maybe a branch has run against it lightly whilst I've been parking up.

Am I being parranoid and surely if someone was gonna scratch it they'd do a proper job and do a large / deep scratch???

Mine was scuffed whilst parked at Heathrow Terminal 2 by someone who didn't know how to park properly or leave details when they damaged someone else's car. Very irritating.

Might have been the postman's bag
Can you feel it with a finger nail? if not it will easily polish out with a very fine cutting polish, not T Cut as its too severe, if you can feel it then it needs flatting down with 1200 or finer paper then polishing with a mop. Probably best to get a specialist detailer to have a look, unless you are confident.

Can't feel it with a fingernail but can see it. It should come out with a good detail hopefully. Hate seeing my baby scratched up :-(

I wouldn't get paranoid. Likely it was from a carelessly hung bag or a child with toy in its hand. That light a scratch is accidental (or careless) whereby deliberate is, well, more deliberate, if you see what I mean.

Yeah... Hopefully no more scratches appear... Accidental or deliberate
