scratch repair help on w208

i have a nice long scratch down one side of the w208, and was wondering,
if the touch up paint pens you can get are any good??
Also how hard would it be to do??

Unless there are any other options - anyone could advise... ?

The scratch itself is not that deep.

Does the scratch cut into the paint, or is it within the clear coat?

I recently had a scratch and some chipps done on my bonnet (silver clk w208), I had tried touch up in the ast and i think it looks awfull. I called a mate that works for a chipps away company......the job was very very poor! could not beleiuve how bad it looked! I eded up getting a full bonnet resspray last week by nationwide. they did the full job in a day and matched the tops of the wings / top of the bumper and the top of the grill. £300 but very pleased with the result!

I suspect you may have to go down NickyB's route. Only the lightest of scratches in my experience can be touched in. If it is as long as you say I''ll probably show on your lovely black coachwork.
Time to get some quotes I'm afraid.

ive never had touch look good, check out detailin world there may be some tips there, ive always gone the respray route.

Does the scratch catch your nail if you run it against it? if not then it may be possible to have it polished out...

so looks like im gonna have to get some quotes in
