Screen Grab ?

Hi gang ...

Quickie ...

Can i grab a word document and save it as a JPEG so as i can link it as a picture ?

I can't work it out ...

Yup, easy if you can display the whole doc on-screen at once. In Word use alt/printscreen to capture the whole window into the clipboard as an image (this is a standard Windows function). Then go to MS Paint or anything else that can save as .jpg and hit paste. You can crop out toolbars etc. before saving.

I don't understand Bill....

I hit alt / prtscreen and nothing happens , i can't then move it over to paint ....

Alt/printscreen just grabs it into the clipboard. You should then be able to hit 'paste' within any other Windows application that can display images (even Word or Excel) and the screen shot should be inserted.

Nothing should happen, you should just be able to paste in to paint and then save as an image...
