Acid seems to be recommended a lot on here, how much does he charge for a pulley and map, £1000/£1500?

I have moments when I'm all set to pick up the phone to Acid and get it done, then get in the car and give it some and realise its pretty damn fast as stock.

After 3 years of enjoying it stock then getting a pulley and remap would be like getting a new car, such is the difference. Go on and treat yourself.....

Best bet is to give Acid a call, he will quote you on whatever you want doing and is always spot on with his pricing. I had both of my 55k's done and they were fantastic.

How many BHP do you want? 77mm pulley and map will be close to 600bhp
83mm and map closer to 550-560. Both will give more torque.
You need your cooling checked too so possibly a new IC pump fitted if your current one is inefficient.

83mm would not doubt be the better option as it's least likely to need a new IC pump id imagine?

The pumps fail even on the standard pulley so for £150-£200 fitted it's worth doing (or around £100 if you do it yourself).
