Title says it all I can get the photos off of my SD card as it just says error. Ive tried several different cameras plus a trip to boots with no joy:(

Any software or ideas?????
Cheers

Sounds like the card is knackered:( Can you still take pics and save them to it?

OK go here and try the free vesion of this
http://www.easyphotorecovery.com/

This will tell you if your photos are recoverable. It is a simple step by step wizard.

If they are, you may wish to buy it... or you may wish to find other means ;)

What brand is the card? Some manufacturers provide recovery utilities which can help. Check their website.

Right I've downloaded a utily from snapfiles and it has found the card when I put it in my phone. It is now analysing it which will take ages. I'll let you all know the outcome. Thanks for all the ideas!

There is also a cheap utility called Recover My Photos. It can recover photos delected from the card as long as they have not been overwritten. Got a few valuable ones back for me after I managed to corrupt the saved copies on the hard drive of my PC.

The software from Snapfiles is just called Photo Recovery but its still scanning and has already found 91 photos! Hurrah.

That's quite impressive.

Hmm - does "found" equate with "copying" them off the card? IMHO - Lets wait and see.

IF its found them, then using the software i have already said willl get them.
Let me know if you need help with it... if you know what I mean. PM me.

Interesting :D

Final result using "Photo Recovery" on snapfiles was that it found about 90 photos of which 60 were complete the others were mostly useless. I saved all the photos and then tried to format the card but its dead as Pammy said.

Big thankyou to all who helped, as ever:)
