For McLaren to make the transition to Honda power my thoughts are they need a driver with multi-team experience and if Alonso does join them then they will have that in him.
Button or Magnussen? Button knows Honda and has 72 points to Magnussen's 39. The case for retaining Magnussen as I see it isn't that strong. If Button has to go there's surely a better rookie out there than Magnussen.

Vettel is surely expecting a rejuvenated Ferrari team to emerge. Unless he's heard something we haven't....

I hope BUT stays. He has almost double the points of his team mate which for McLaren is very important right now. He may not be the quickest, but he tends to be better on a Sunday in race trim, which means points, which in turn means money. A safe bet as a No.2 driver
