I have been using Charles at the SEC Shop near Sevenoaks for a while now to look after my 1990 500SE. Although a basically nice car, it had bloody terrible handling! Charles spent HOURS on it, going through it part by part and by dint of replacing some knackered parts, adjusting the steering box properly (and removing all the play) it finally can be driven over 60 MPH without me soiling my undergarments. He also did a full service on the car and replaced the timing chain and tensioner (it was the original and had done 130k)

Charles is friendly, knowledgable and competent. His charges are VERY reasonable as well. I highly recommended him, even though I have to travel around 80 miles from Reading to him every time, it's well worth it. He has access to a lot of spares for the SE/SEC 126 series as well.

cool - i was thinking of seeing him over my window issues... coupes are a bit funny when it comes to seals and windows, and I'd rather not spend 300 quid on seals
