Well, the sunroof is repairable, but it's a major job if it ha broken componentry. Cable is easy replace, but anything else, put aside a couple of weekends to fix a bad sunroof on a w126 SEC !

Gold plating badges only is fine, but either do all the badges or none at all. Front grille badging should be plated too but it isn't.

I think there have been threads on these before - pretty much an electric fan in the airflow - so surely remarkably effective!!

I can only imagine waht it must be like having two - phwoarrr!!

All for a few quid from ebay!!

Almost certainly. But there's nothing wrong with a real electric supercharger (which just uses an electric motor to spin the supercharger rather than a belt or gear drive).

I'm sure some folks like those chrome wheel arch thingies but to me they scream... Rust hider!

No doubt there is no rust and the car is perfect but I just do not like them.

I like the wording abot the gearbox... "it shifts as it should" My evil mind is giggling about how much it shifts

More like a year or two!! mine took forever to sort out after my retrim. In the end the parts were so expensive I got a donor car in to use...

Quite possibly I'm sure that's been for sale before - the gold plating rings a bell. And I'm sure we had a thread on and SEC with electric superchargers about 6 months ago, that was a unfinsihed project (have searched but can't find it) - could well have been this car.
