The first step when you replace a SAM whether its new or used or even if it came from an identical car, is to get it coded. Only then can you properly start to diagnose what might still be wrong.
The coding takes about 15 minutes and needs to be done online with Mercedes using a genuine Xentry system. It is pointless discussing anything further until you have had this step performed.
