This area is just another government **** up where someone didn't think it through. IMO a car passing the emission test is far more important than how many CATs a car has or should have. Same with DPFs too.

Passing the max emissions for an MoT is one thing.

Minimising emissions to lower running costs (eg VED) is another...

If you modify your car to increase emissions, then you will be paying less VED than you should be paying.....
