Secondary cat removal and EMP

Any differences between EMP and MSL chaps. I'm looking to delete or gut the secondary cat on my c63 as a starting point to exhaust mods. Any difference in x pipe or straight pipe of the cat is totally removed? Anyone near Notts have something I could see/listen too please let me know. Thanks

The only issue I found was that EMP wanted my car for a couple of days to do Kleemann manifolds (which was not really convenient) whereas MSL were able to do them within a day...

If you are in Nottm then go to MSL. It's only an hours drive and I am sure you'll be impressed with the work done. It's a unique operation at MSL and they are hard to beat on customer service and ability to deliver great work at a great price.

Thanks I'll give them a call.
Any downsides to removing/gutting the second cat? Any horror stories?

EMP do an initial good job but.........
After only 16 months of custom X-pipe, sec cat and res delete the x-pipe has broken in 2 places the past 6 weeks. This is due to insufficient welds on some of the connections. (Photo's will be uploaded)
They have been informed and there 1st question was to check engine mounts as the movement could cause unwanted shifting but all my engine mounts were changed 7 months ago.
I informed the Indie in Watford who arranged the work and they relayed EMP's idea of engine mounts!

On saying that this does seem to be a rare thing with EMP but just my luck!

My advice, go and see Imran at Torqueflow (MSL Building, Birmingham) and tell him what you require ;)

The first photo doesn't look as though it has any welding on it!

The second one looks light on welding as well...

Contrast that with some of Imran's handy work:

Ive compared systems before in person and via pics on here, and all be it biasedly, EMPs work is by far the best I've seen.

Saying that you can't go wrong with any of the recommendations here.
