OK here we go 320 CLK 209 Cab 2004
I managed to buy a self dimmer RVM on ebayer for £10.00 (Bargin i thought at the time?) i puilled my unit apart using a trusty flat head plus props and found two wires going down to the gararge opener BLUE and BROWN. On the self dimming unit there are three wires RED BLUE and BROWN. As stated earlier the two housings are different with the help of a Stanley knife a couple of dif
ferent head drills i have got the garage unit to fit quite snug into the self dimmer unit. Two main questions if anybody can help.
1) How do you remove the unit from the windscren to access the feed cables or do i work with the power i have ther already.
2) If i do have to work with what is there i would assume that all the cables would need to be connected, if that is the case i think i may be snooked.
Will i find the missing red feed in the interior light cluster? and if so how do i remove the cover without any damage to the unit.
Any help would be great whilst i try to stick my mangled fingers back together.
Thanks,
BJAZZZ.
