Hi all , what type of fluid/oil do you use to top up the self levelling suspension reservoir on a 1998 E300 turbo diesel estate.Noticed a leak from the levelling valve and the level indicator on the reservoir is reading minimum. This appears the symptom of repairs carried out a month ago by dealership.

You need to use the genuine Mercedes fluid IIRC.

Some people use the citroen stuff as well but personally, I'd stick with genuine MB.

I'd think it would use standard MB ZHM fluid - like the W124/201 models etc?

Either available from your local dealers, or from GSF etc these days, made by FEBI-Bilstein. Quite a price difference from memory, both are identical spec.

It's different to the Citroen stuff as Sp!ke has said.

Will
