Has anyone got any experience of the merc sequentronic gearbox?
i mean the one made for the c-class estate and the c class sport
it has
just A,N,R,+,- written on top of the gear knob as opposed to the tiptronic written on the base P,R,N,D,+,-

I used one in Australia. I thought it was easy to use. You put in A and go, or you can + - it for up and down, and it holds the gear you select.

Seemed a really simple item, but I have heard they are problematic. It had 6 gears. I left it in A most of the time.

It was a cheaper option on the c-sport, than the usual 5 speed auto!

Just wanted to know if it is very reliable and whether it suffers from maf issue or valeo problems as the other auto boxes and if it is cheap to sort out
