This and that.
Didn't want to hijack recycled's thread so I decided to start my own.

One of my bête noirs is made-up words. Shampoo and makeup seem to be the worst. "Hydroelantistical", "Dermopraxiselatin" and so on (I made them up myself, and you probably didn't even know it :D )

Anyhoo; what the heck, I thought, is 'Sequentronic'?

-tron is a suffix forming a noun. It indicates a vacuum tube, or an instrument for accelerating atomic or subatomic particles.

-ic is is a suffix forming an adjective. It means of, or relating to.

So -tronic means like an instrument for accelerating atomic particles.

I'll ask again: What does 'Sequentronic' mean? Or 'Parktronic', or 'Distronic', or 'Keytronic', or 'Dynamatronic'?

Bl00dy marketing people...

I think that's more-or-less my point.

Emporer's New Clothes syndrome. Sartoriotronic, probably.
