I'd value that at about £7.5k if it was as clean as it appears to be in the pics.

It's had a complete spray job I assume.

William Loughran has been around for donkeys years selling exotic, rare & interesting cars.

Though he may be new to ebay I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing by now & will do just fine with it.

You could buy the current SL Model for that money now, if you ventured down the auctions.......stupidly high, and in my eyes deluded price for a R129.

Hmm - I wouldn't normally be one to say that someone's car is overpriced, but I can't see how a 1992 40k mile 500SL is worth that much. They've even incorrectly described it as an 'SL500'

What makes it worth £22k, it's not rare enough or unique in any respect - plenty of lower-mileage/rarer R129s for less.
