Service Book retrival ?

Is it a pain to retrive service book with all stamps from mercedes?
My Cls has full merc service on a print, book is missing
Like to have my paper work in order

MB dealer can print out all service work done at MB on the car

When I was looking at buying my first Merc about 18 months ago, I looked at one which had a Duplicate Service Book. It was stamped/perforated all the way through with the word 'Duplicate'. Don't know if these are still available though. (It was a 2005 car).

I had to do this with a 2002 E500. It just required some phoning round of the dealers I knew had serviced it and then posting and retrieving it from them when they'd done the necessary. The new book had Duplicate stamped through it too. I think it's worth doing. They all have electronic service records of each car now so verifying things isn't difficult for them. Good luck with it.
