service brake visit workshop!

To be honest it will hurt the pocket... Considering the importance of being able to stop I think this probably isn't the area to economise.

LOL can't disagree
Just thought there may be some companies doing a reconditioned unit but struggling to find.

Not read of anyone using this yet it's pretty new but genuine. Worth pursuing through a good Indie garage.

Bosch are selling replacements for much less than MB.

You still need a Direct Bosch account though to purchase, happy to be proved wrong though.

Ive been quoted through a supplier just under 1k Plus vat and Surcharge. Why are they advertising in Eu £612 plus vat? Someone is making alot of money still on these :(

what kind of labour price/time should i be paying for the removal/refit of the SBC, i will need new brake fluid as well yes.

Guys my friends red light came on whilst driving!!
Luckily he was only just pulling out from a car park but he lost pretty much all braking.
Now I'm crapping it

Once a exchange/New pump has been fitted does it start counting the pedal presses again?
As this potentially means the threshold could be reached quickly and there's only 2 years guarantee

new pump will start counting from zero

So I could reach threshold again soon depending on miles covered

Your original unit has lasted 11 years, if you replace it then it will likely outlive the car, also, if you read the links etc you have been given and do some reading you will see that it is subject to applications of the braking system and not mileage.
