Service plan denied

As my service , B5, is due I thought I would read a few bits on here. Read some advice that it could be a good time to get service plan as B5 and A7 would be included and tend to be expensive.
Went to MB website to price a plan and was denied. No reason given. Car is 2020 and been serviced each year at dealership. I guess buying your service plan is not simple 🤷‍♀️

There was a reason given, there are currently no Service Plan options for this vehicle ...

What did they say when you called or emailed?
 
The car may have had a private plate at some point. Call the dealer and give them your VIN number.

Or, if you're lucky, the previous owner took out a service plan but forgot to cancel it...........

My hunch too.
 
It wouldn’t be denied, just some tech issue which is preventing it from being ordered/completed online. Just call them up and they will sort it out :)

I’ve had that several times. It’s never been explained but I’ve had it probably 5 times over the years. In my case at least, I’ve been able to have a service plan, the website just couldn’t automatically provide a quote in the first instance.

I’ve only ever had one service plan, but I’m sure I had the same issue when trying to look online and although it was a few years back, seem to remember phoning them to resolve.

Entirely possible it’s related to plate transfers, as MB’s system seems to lag a bit in this regard (I’m sure my service invoices have had old registrations on them even with the plan active!)
 
The sytem is not recognising the reg.
 
I had the same problem, would not work online. My previous one had just elapsed. I gave up on it, but when the next service was due & I was dropping the car off, I mentioned it to the service advisor who arranged it by the time I returned to pick the car up.
