I've been quoted £199 for a 1 spanner service and £299 for a 2 spanner service for my 320cdi.This is from the Merc dealearship.This seems to good to be true.I realise this is just the cost of oil,filter etc.But even so,a lot cheaper than I was expecting.

Its little more than £199 for an oil and filter change and I'll warrant they'll either use rubish oil or the price doesnt include it.

I wouldnt call that cheap.

The £299 service will probably include lots of chin scratching and sucking of teeth followed by a long list of extras with the final bill not far short of a grand.

They will rape you on other stuff. is that + vat?

They say thats the price,and will not perform repairs or things needed , without contacting me first.

Sounds very cheap for MB main dealer.
