Hi,

As a new mercedes owner I've heard rumours of expensie service costs. (although my last car was a hyundai coupe and that was'nt cheap to service and the dealers were crap!).

Anybody got any rough costs for A and B services ?

(Mines got 43000 miles, appears to have had 2 A and 1 B service and is 6000 miles from the next one).

I don't know what the stealer charges, I service mine myself and the parts are no more expensive than any other quality marque.

If you go for good quality non-genuine parts the prices are even better.

It is a hard decision as to keep up the main dealer service history to add value to the car when you come to sell it or save the money and get it serviced at a good independent garage.

serviving is normally between £120 - £200 for a normal assist service assuming nothing extra has to be done working no labour rates of around £70
