I’m picking my S205 on Tuesday.
This car was serviced last year October which was B service next service is due October 2023 which is going to be A service..

I asked the dealer if they going to take care of it as it’s only few months away they said , No..

No, because service is away more then 3 months so they don’t have to do the service if it was under 3 months then Yes..
Is that true..
I’ve tried to get a service out of them but they not willing to do it..

Yes , that’s what I was told a couple of years ago when I bought my SLK, luckily it was just inside the 3 month window by the time they had done one or two jobs to get it ready , so they serviced it before I collected it.

To be fair it’s around 5 months away. If the cost of the service is a deal breaker, either make it a condition of the deal or reflect the cost of the service in the price you negotiate.

The A service is less expensive than the B service, however it’s the additional items which may be due which will determine the actual cost.

They aren’t willing to do the service because you have already bought the car .
