Sheepskin over rugs

I have a contact who is going to make me a set of sheepskin over rugs for the SE. I have to send him a template.
They are also backed with a pad so not just sitting flimsily on the hide.They are also short cropped (about an inch deep)
I have seen them for sale but have been quoted 5/600 quid
My guy will do them for about £200 and hand coloured to match your interior
Anyone interested get in touch as he will do better price for group order?

Still popular in certain parts of Australia I believe.

Had them in a Chevette in 1982 - very comfy IIRC on cold winter nights. Last seen them on sale in Lidl or Aldi only a couple of years ago. I was tempted, but Mrs 126 said don't you even think about it!

I think they'd be too good to soil with dirty , muddy feet .

For me , I have nice fitted mats in the summer and rubber covers in the winter .
