Shifting over to BT.

As per the title. This is supposed to happen on Wed 3rd. What happens to any incoming mail on my old server, say for the next month or two? (Tiscali).
Bt helpline were a bit vague.

Also, any advice on making the switch as painless as possible please.

I'm doing the same, going from tiscali (Talktalk) to BT on Thursday 4th so have the same problems. I did open a web based Email service (Windows live in my case) and informed everyone I could think of about my new address.

I left Tiscali about 8 years ago but still use their email account.

How does that work then? A friend has just changed from Tiscali to O2 and the second he left the account was shut down. Can't login to webmail or nuffink

I still get emails from Tiscali (now Talktalk) for Member Rewards...
I have to say though, I never "switched" through any automated process.. I always managed the process myself, maybe that's the key.

Not sure but I still am able to log on, my Dad still can after he left about 2 years ago.

That's interesting, I'll try it myself. If my Tiscali account still works and I no longer need it, I could use it if I thought a site was dodgy.
