Stunning cars. I have always held in high regard the people who do this. It is not a cheap hobby and some of the skill required is mind boggling.


its as cheap as you make it, i know people who have built rods for virtually nothing, you dont need pots of money, its just that a lot of the cars that get noticed have had oodles spent on them.

check this thread out for a super budget build of a useable rod, it could easily be painted in shiny paint quite cheaply if thats you thing.

No, the guy was replacing the fuel filler cap (parked outside Halfords).

In the 5th pic. I posted you can see one of the cars there was in a bare metal finish, no idea if it was going to stay that way or not.
 
This one was following me as i was driving from Bracknell to Crowthorne on Saturday afternoon

That yellow pickup was pretty smart - those are rectangular side exhausts in front of the rear wheels.
