Shopping trolley damage

Got back to my car in the car park,
To find a shopping trolley parked by the back door.
It has dented the silver trim piece on the door molding.
Are these just stuck on,and what do they cost.

Is it the door rubbing strip? Then yes they are clipped to the door, not that cheap but won't break the bank if you want to replace them. When you say dent, is it a deep dent or just a scrape, could it not be touched up?
