Short Term Contract Hire

I am after any recommendations for companies that do short term contract hire, somewhere between 3 and 9 months. There seems to be loads around, but was wondering if anybody had anything good/bad to say about specific companies.

Also, if possible I would like to be a little picky on my choice of car, say a C320 CDI for example - most seem to advertise more base spec cars - is this even possible?

I have used these in the past and found them quite helpful, although they did get confused at the workshop and delivered the wrong car (180 miles wasted on a Saturday for them. Oops!), but all easily sorted with a box of wine to apologise!

Just looked and the car range looks a lot smaller than it did - I guess the credit crunch might be hitting them too.
