Should I de-badge?

Black.

Flat blade wipers at front too?

How about lowering it - really lowering it? With small-ish wheels?

Go for an ultra smooth Euro-look...

Not sure about the black....
I've just bought front wiper blades :( .... might have to wait to replace them again.... after MOT maybe. 2months.

They've got 15's on them now. and it seems really high. How low would you lower it? .... pics in the album "my A160 :D"

New 'lower' springs needn't be expensive - really the labour will likely be the most expensive unless you can call in a favour, or find a local mechanic.

i meant how far would you lower it? cm wise? ...

or turn it into a Monster Truck with massive wheels, an ultra smooth American look;)

I used a hair dryer on its hottest heat and then slowly peeled off the badge. I took the remaining gunk off by using Mr Sheen wax polish spray and just rubbing it off with a duster. Then polish and ta da!

Is there a holder for the front? The plate on the front of my car is screwed on and is bent to fit the shape of the bumper..

Same as my wifes B class and the newer E class you may need to heat it up to bend it a little.

Not easy to tell but this is my wifes B class and the bumper is shaped quite at an angle.

I dont think the bend is quite at an angle like the B class on the W204.. I guess the thicker sticky pads on the sides and a thin pad in the middle should be ok to hold it...

MB dealer! otherwise it will only make your car look 2nd hand :D:D:D

Halfords plates are darker and look slightly Orange IMO.

Went to MB dealer today to get a plate holder... The response was: sorry sir we do not sell them anymore, they have been discontinued because they were not very good....

I picked up a set of plates and a tax disc holder from MB Manchester, makes the car look slightly better-looked-after IMHO ;)

If the car has got any AMG mods, then its your call.
If the previous owner added the AMG badge with no AMG mods, then lose it.

Apparently the best way to remove a badge that's attached by sticky pads is to use a length of dental floss and using little pressure gently rub through the pads one by one.
Remove any remaining pad adhesive using methylated spirits then polish the area to match the surrounding bodywork.

Edit........Too late. Sorry.

Recommend the tints but make sure your windows don't have any scratches on them already. Always annoying with 2nd hand cars - once tinted it only then becomes obvious and a bugger to correct.

Maybe look on ebay or similar for the numberplate holders, I think there is a seller on there who does road legal (and illegal!) plates for £4 each.

I would go with bigger wheels and less of a drop. A Class on 18" with a nice low profile tyre would sit well in the arches.
