Ii have a w209 CLK 320 avant gard convertible and it has some 17" AMG wheels.

I would rather have standard 16" that came with, but would it have had larger rears?

Thanks

Phil

Although those wheels will fit a 209, they are taken from the SLK and as far as I know were never fitted to the 209 from the factory.

These are the 16" alloys that were fitted to the pre facelift Avantgarde CLK. I had them on my 52 plate car.

my clk facelift has the the 16" Saiph's, nice wheels, but they rot badly if not cleaned properly on the inner face (disc/ hub side), as I found out today..5 hours to rub ONE down. Not really a mercedes issue, the standard MB paint is very thick.. its the previous owners blasting them with a hose or power jet and missing the tricky behind the spokes bits which leaves winter road salt embedded in brake dust eating away at the alloy and undermining the coating! Only 3 more to do....!

Maybe your rot was caused by the ovenpride.
