...That's a real beauty and relatively rare.. a real flyer with the 350 unit,. CGI options were less favoured over D,s.. what with the price of fuel now and the bad press for exhaust fumes from D cars.. I,m so glad I got a petrol model.. comes to think of it I have only ever owned petrol cars..........oooppps !!! here it is !! I wonder why its upside down... lol....foxy52

Thanks Foxy. It's a shame that MBUK decided not to continue with this fantastic combination. The M276 V6 engine is spot on for me: lots of smooth power without the raucousness of full-blown AMGs. It's fairly economical too, getting close to 40mpg on a run. I think there are only about 50 C-classes in the UK with this engine.

Guessed as much .. if mine had been a 350 when I got the call from my local dealer they had a nice low mileage W204 in stock I,d still have bought it even with the bigger engine.. I get nearly 40 on a long run if I don't floor it !!... having owned 5 C Class Mercs over the years that latter ones up to 2012 are the nicest looking...quality of finish took an upturn to after the critiscm of the earlier cars after 190E production ceased...foxy52

If you took the photo with an iPhone it's a common problem. I can't remember the technical terms, but it's to do with the data that's attached to the photo which says which way up it should be. Lots of Apple iOS data isn't compatible with anything else so it gets confused.

The seats on my C350 Sport are unusual in that they're not sport seats. The comfort ventilated seats that I specified aren't available in the sports versions, but I'm more than happy because these are very comfortable.

Exterior lighting

In case anyone is thinking of doing this. I replaced all my exterior wedges (sides and numberplate) with led. I used a brand called ultraled, had no flickers or melting issues since install in March.

here's a pic showing the difference in the sides:



I also changed the orange indicator bulbs to chromed Osram, look silver, flash orange:

Just neatens up the outside.

Next step is leds in the fogs, which I only use as surround lighting, so they match the sides.
