Is there any way to switch of the voice on navigation on command? I tend to turn it down, but still have my music interrupted by a a short period of silence!! :wallbash:

It may depend on which Comand you have, as you haven't said?

If it's NTG-1 then look on page 138 of the manual.

There is a perpetual race between my index finger and the nav. Need to get to the mute button before she finishes speaking!

You can just press the repeat button if she finishes.

But pressing Mute as she speaks will prevent any further voice instructions.
Otherwise just cancel the route navigation?

Do you want route guidance? Or just Map display?

Push and hold mute, it definately works and will mute all further nav instructions.

You can always just have the Map display but you wont have any guidance arrows...

Can't you just turn the SatNav volume down, it's seperately controllable on my UMI/Nav4

I can, but the silence still cuts into my music!

Anyway, it's sorted now - a long hold on the button switches it off - yay!
