Sigature in Windscreen

The C Class one doesn't look like a sticker either - I had a scratch and it didn't do anything - I think its etched in - for future when you buy a C Class second-hand you'll know if it has a replacement screen (Not sure what that tells you though)
Not all C-Class have them... so unless you know for fact the car had it from the factory, then not having it is neither here nor there...

Jaguars with ZF gearboxes have the name of the ZF company founder printed on their VIN plates. Hans Zupp apparently.

Oy! That's the same as mine! They can't both be genuine!

My C Class has the signature. It’s the same black material used to black out parts of the window so definitely not a sticker. Last week I had a brand new A Class loan car it’s windscreen was just signed Mercedes.

The signatures can also be brought as a sticker for retrofitting. Not sure if all of them are available as stickers, but at least the Daimler one is.

The wife pointed out to me today that my windscreen has been signed by Carl Benz - has anyone else noticed if their screen has been signed ?

My 19 playe cla has same ,but not car, some other mr Mercedes, ill have a closer look now you mention it...i actually like it bud....

Mine had the signature until a stone shattered it.
The replacement doesn't have a signature but it still works as a windscreen should.
