Hello,my ML270 cdi is due a B service and I'm thinking of using this Mercedes specialist as it's quite close to me.Anyone from here used them before?
Mercedes 'stealer' servicing prices have not come down as I read
I phoned MB Bishops Stortford and they said...A service £265 and B service £495 which I thought was a bit too expensive.
Then I phoned Simon Light and they said...A service £198 and B service £297 which I thought was much more better value.They use genuine MB parts and use Total engine oil.Labour charge is £65+vat.
My ML has only done 31k miles and is a 2004 model.
What do you guys think?
I also read about somewhere in Dunmow and a specialist called Gem-Tech in Romford.I've also read good things about Olly/PCS in Portsmouth.

I have used Richard at Gem Tech in Romford and I found him to be a very knowledgable/helpful/inexpensive/pleasant guy. He was a Mercedes Technician I think for 14 years and I will continue to use him for ALL of my servicing/repair work, whatever car it may be. I have put quite a few of my friends his way and they are all pleased with what he has done for them. I believe he is on this forum as MB-TECHNICIAN

UPDATE.
My ML270 has been booked in at Mercedes-Benz Loughton,Essex.
It's due a B Service.Cost of service is about 490
I'm servicing the ML at Mercedes-Benz in the hope of getting some bodywork repaired by them under warranty.
I'll report on the service received.I'm going to have a C-Class as a courtesy car.
