sl 55 amg engine light on

hi have a 53 plate sl 55 amg and if you drive it hard the engine warning light comes on code p203d angle variation of camshaft to crankshaft
lack of power until code cleared
also have checked valve timing and all seems ok has any one come across this help appreciated

I suspect the either the cam sensor or crank sensor is giving inplausible values.. Needs detailed diagnostics done.
