SL R230 central locking problem

Hi Members
central locking wont work with key fobs ,batteries fine in both and keyless ignition wont operate either with {key not recognised on dash] checked fuse and pump both ok .Running out of ideas HELP!!!!!!

Had our only key stop unlocking the doors on my sons SL. It still started the car but we couldn’t lock it even the emergency key would not work. Had to get an auto locksmith who programmed 2 keys and cut the emergency keys to the cars locks.
