Sl280 triple black owner, hi!

Hello everyone, never joined a forum before. Hoping someone can answer a question for me. dannyspark

Hi, Dont suppose anyone knows or would know where to find this info. I would like to find out how many r129 sl280's were sold in uk and more specifically how many are black paint, black leather and black roof. I know the sl280 is fairly rare I just wanted to know how many there are in this colour combination. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

The SL280 doesn't look very rare based on this:

How Many Left?

Approx. 2,400 taxed last year in the UK (plus more SORNed). You can add up registrations by year to get the number sold in total.

No way of knowing the colour combinations though unless M-B themselves will give you the info.

Looks like about 3100 SL320s still around. Can't get a number for SL500s as there's no way to distinguish between R129 and R230.
