Not an ebay ad. Not sure why someone would spend thousands for that conversion. Although looking at it the second time round, he has done a rather good job of it.

Problem is the wheels still look like castors, and if the illusion isn't already shattered, it will be the moment the soft roof comes up.

I don't get these kits either.

As with the CLK conversion for the 124 Coupe and Cabrio, it all looks wrong. The photos show the front and rear appear too long.

I've seen a W220 conversion of a W140 and it's no better in the metal!

Just leave these cars alone!
