Surely those wheels are 2-piece, not 3-piece?

They're 3-piece but the face bolts into the rim securing the lip as opposed to having a true split rim with nut and bolt.

They're 3-piece but the face bolts into the rim securing the lip as opposed to having a true split rim with nut and bolt.

I thought they're 2 piece. If you undo the face, the face drops out and you are left with 1 piece rim.

3 piece wheels are when the front of the rim is seperate from the back of the wheel. The face holds the front and back pieces together which has a seal inbetween.

I may be wrong but i'm convinced they're 2 piece, similar to the AMG 18" split rims.

No they're definitely three-piece - I've had a spare taken apart to be refurbed.
