SL320 wet rear floor

Guys
I have found that my rear floor pan is wet on my SL320 , more on the right that the left, what could cause this, my initial thoughts are that the roof is letting in water but also could be a seal that has gone somewhere....
any ideas where and what to look for???

If you think the roof is leaking I presume you have the hardtop off and are using the softtop? Have you checked inside the tonneau cover to see if the drain holes are wet and / or blocked? If the roof were leaking then it would show elsewhere on the trim - the carpet panels are very easy to remove to check behind for this sort of thing.

stats i think you are on to something now that you mention it!!!! i recall seeing water under the tonneau cover will check again today. This sounds like the problem as it never happened with the hardtop on.... had a look at it and there was water under there... how would you clean the tubes out that go into the body work under the cove do you know any way?
Also found water logged carpet in the boot on the left hand side where the first aid kit is???? any ideas???

Found some metal pellets blocking the drain in the boot so that resolves that problm, now the wet floor is driving me crazy as i cant seem to find how the water is getting there? nothing around it is wet just the rear foot well behing the drivers seat???

any suggesstions???
