SL500 (129) tyres

Any views on best choice of tyre?

I've currently got Dunlop SP9000s on the car. This tyre doesn't seem to be available any more, or at least not in the size I need:

245/45/17 - not sure what speed rating - would it be Z ?

I need 2 fronts only so will be keeping the dunlops on the rear for the time being.

I've got Dunlop SP Sport 01 MOs on mine, which seem fine. I would probably have had Continental Sport Contact 3s if they'd been available in MO fit at the time though.

Speed rating W or Y will be fine with the standard 155 mph limiter present.

Kuhmo's are a very good mid-range tyre. I ran them on my E55 without any problems and they performed eaqually as good as Conti's etc.
