This is the first time I have owned a car with adaptive damping suspension and it took a couple of days to appreciate the suspension was not working as it should. All the buttons worked - the height would adjust, it was level but was very soft and seemed to bounce, like a boat going over a small wave.
Checked the fluid, read all the posts, downloaded and read the ADS manual etc. One post suggested reseting the steering position sensor (full lock both ways a couple of times) I did not have any error lights but try the simple things first.
FIXED rides as it should, goes hard when you press the switch. Even the wife noticed the difference (was complaining the ride made her feel sick).
Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Got an issue with mine at the mo, think it's the valve on the rear axle playing up, going to take it to SS Motors in Weybridge when I can....

Nice to see another East Sussex member, whereabouts are you located? I'm in St Leonards on Sea.

Have you used SS Motors before ? If not there is TM Motors West Molesley who can highly recommend ( Tony is the owner 0208 941 4044 ). I thought you have used Olly in the past ?

I have used Olly in the past and will continue to do so. Not used SS Motors before but I am reliably informed that they are ADS/R129 specialists.

It will most likely be the spheres... Good quality ones from Euro's normally come in at around £80 IIRC.

I understood that defective spheres gave hard ride but I have a lot to learn about ADS.
Name and location - dickchailey - Richard from Chailey, pleased to make your acquaintance.

No it's not the spheres Jay, I've already had them replaced and a pair of new rear shocks too.
